                                                   ^ UPDATED INFORMATION ^

          <<<< Here's how we're organized >>>>

T-Ball (ages 5 and 6)
This league is for 5 and 6 year olds. The goal in this league is to teach the fundamentals of hitting and fielding. For the first two games, all batters will hit the ball from a batting tee that allows the batter to swing level.  After two games, the batter’s coach will “lob” the pitch to the batter. Any player who does not hit the pitch after three strikes, will then hit off a tee.  All players present for the game bat in order, whether playing defensively or not. Each player plays a minimum of two innings defensively. Two adult coach may be stationed beyond the infielders in order to provide instruction to all defensive players. The primary goal is to begin to instruct young players in the fundamentals of baseball in a supportive team environment.

Rookie League (ages 7 and 8)
Players in this league learn basic baseball skills and plays, in a positive fun-filled environment. All 7 and 8 year olds are assigned to teams in this division,
however, 8 year olds who previously played one season of Rookie ball may move to the Minor league. The Rookie league utilizes a pitching machine to encourage hitting development. A team's entire lineup bats each game and ten players will be in the field for defense. The season ends with a modified double-elimination tournament.

Minor League (ages 8 and 9)
The goal in Minor league is to teach baseball fundamentals and team participation. Competitiveness is secondary to providing a variety of playing opportunities in order that all ballplayers properly learn the fundamentals of the game. All 8 and 9 year olds participate in this division. The Minor league utilizes a combination of player and coach pitch. Each team bats through its complete team roster every game. The season ends with a modified double-elimination tournament.

Prep League (ages 10)
The goal in Prep League is to prepare players for Major League baseball. This league teaches the fundamentals of bunting, base steeling and develops skills needed for the next level. The rules are the same as in the Major League with the exception of each team bats through its complete team roster every game. The season ends with a modified double-elimination tournament.

Major League (ages 11 and 12)
The Major league plays competitive baseball while recognizing the goals of teaching baseball fundamentals and good sportsmanship. Playing requirements are intended to insure that all ballplayers receive an opportunity to develop their skills under game conditions. All 11 and 12 year olds, play in this league. The season ends with a true double-elimination tournament

All Stars (ages 9,10,11 and 12)
Four post season all star teams are formed. 12u ,11u, 10u and 9u. More than one all-star teams in each division may be formed.. Selections are made on a try-out basis. This is a competitive, traveling team program. Ballplayers participating in post-season play are usually interested in further refining baseball skills and competing against all star teams from the inland northwest and Canada. All star season usually begins in mid June and may extend into early August

( For league age purposes, the player’s age on April 30th is their playing age. )
